Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
I received an in-state phone call saying they wanted to extend my warranty coverage which was about to end. They already had my name, phone number, email, mailing address, etc.
They explained their services and coverage plan. It sounded legitimate to me.
They asked for an initial payment and set up monthly payments to start next month.
They said they would send me the plan in the mail. Then they emailed me the plan details the same day.
I spoke with my brother about it, who previously owned the car, and he said it sounded like a scam and I should report it and contact my bank.
