Automated message no name

Type of a scam Credit Cards

A local area code number called me, I answered and there was a pause then an automated message said "We have been trying to reach you in regard to lowering your credit card interest rate…" etc etc, "press one to speak to a representative." They didn’t list any particular company or name. I called the number back from my work phone and got a lady from a local appliance repair shop saying I was the second person to call them with a similar story.
