Pretty much the same as everyone else.
Selling my moms car after her passing. Woman from craigslist responds asking to email her husband the details. Says it has to be approved for the money and to use threport.com. My husband said the VIN is listed. He said if it’s about the $, he’d add to the sale of the car. Blah Blah Blah.
I am ALWAYS aware of crappy people and this one got me. Tried to cancel the transaction thru my credit card company as it was only "pending" but they can’t. I can call back after it has "gone thru" and state FRAUD, and then dispute the transaction and fingers crossed get my measly $24 back. So now I have to cancel my credit card and wait for a new one and resubmit to all my online carriers.
IF ONLY THE A-HOLE SPENT THAT AMOUNT OF EFFORT AND TIME INTO A REEEEALLLLL JOB!
