Saw a nice boat on Craig’s list, decided this was the boat for us as we live on a big lake, the asking price was 15,000.00, at first I was unable to get ahold of the buyer, when she finally messaged me her story was. I should have mentioned from the beginning and spare some conversation time. I called ASC- short for Auto Sedge Consignor. They are a consignment service for vehicles and large items mostly. Take a quick look at their website and how they handle these sales. The reason for selling is we got a great deal on a different one and keeping them both is not an option. In case you are too far away I have a contract with them to pay the first 1000 miles, based on their policy it will cost an additional $1.15 mile after the first 1000 miles. They can better explain. Well, I wired the money on February 16, 2018 in the amount of 14,500.00 dollars. It was a dream boat and was too good to be true, I have been suffering from cancer and thought this was going to be a great boat for my family. I researched the company and spoke with my banker and so far no boat, they have delayed the delivery for 20 days now. There are just too many red flags on this purchase. Very distraught and now at 73 I have to pay for a boat I didn’t get.

We found a pontoon boat on Craigslist. The seller was using Auto Sedge to sell her pontoon boat. After checking out the site, we agreed on a purchase price and wired money in the amount of $19,000 to buy the boat. We received an invoice, contract, and bill of sale and expected the boat within 7 days. They kept cancelling the delivery dates and have not responded to any emails or phone calls. We still have not received any contact, the boat or money.
