Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I got and email from an attorney that said he was Washington D.C. claim he owed over 10,000 dollars to a certain company that I have never heard of he sent me email asking me when can I pay and how much and he was located in Spokane Washington not Washington D.C. he had he phone number sent up to where it was D.C. these was no address for him or anything but when I caught of to him and told him I looked his number up and it was listed as scam he got mad and got unprofessional with me what attorney do you know that does that and he sounded foreign he gave all kinds excuses saying he is from Washington D.C. but he was working out of Spokane Washington two different sides of the country I told him I was going to report him an that made him even more mad if your a legitimate attorney what have and attitude he told me to stop emailing him when he was the one trying to get me to pay money to a federal reserve Bank that I didn’t have and account for he wanted me to pay it to him. And he was going to give it to the people that filed the law suit as he claimed but the number he used is listed as a surprise am number on Google.
