I’ve received numerous calls on my landline phone from people with mid-eastern accents, purporting to be from AT&T Internet Tech Support. They claim that they have observed a problem on my computer and want my permission to access my computer to deal with it. On questioning, they have my home address and previous addresses. I tell them I’ll have to call them back and get the following number: 916-234-6050. Of course, I don’t give them access to my computer.

I have had this number call me everyday even after I threatened to call the bbb they said they don’t have to stop calling and have been rude. They are trying to sell me service I don’t want I was even on the phone with supervisor when the same rep called me again
