Type of a scam Phishing

Has sent 2 prior checks in past. Each check says: "Pay to the order of AT&T Mobility" and then our address is printed under that. Dated 1/3/20 for $143.85 We did unintentionally cash the first check in a very small amount of $14, not thinking that was not payable to us. We had just purchased new cell phones when moving here to FL. 6/2019 and the first check arrived (I think) in July via USPS. We are unsure of the response made to the Yes/No questions below. The bank cashier cashed the first check without a hitch, noting that it was payable to AT&T Mobility. I wasn’t sure, but neither of us knew that it could be a scam. The scammer probably has our bank account # and names now etc
