Horrendous scam

Jorge – Oct 05, 2020

I purchased two Astrolit Projectors on June 18, 2020 for $170.90 after being advertised by a youtuber that my daughter is a fan of “Faze Rug”, and I still have not received my order to date (Oct 5, 2020). When I inquired the first time, “Neil” from the email address [email protected] advised that they were on back order due to covid and to give it another week. I inquired again about 3 weeks later with no response, and multiple times since with no response. It has now been going on 4 months and I have not received any product, nor have I received any acknowledgment of my request for a refund.

The address on the bottom of their email says: AstroLit Sunset Plaza Los Angeles, CA 90069

I paid for this through sezzle.com.

I’d like to join the others here to stop this business from scamming people, and I would love to get my money back if at all possible 🙁

So after waiting months I got mine. It doesn’t work. The cord-port is loose and it’s not charging. It is impossible to to even press the area labeled as “buttons”. Try to get your money back. This is a scam.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Was served an add on Instagram for Astrolit, a lamp that projects a starry sky onto walls and ceilings.

On May 15, 2020 I visited the website and bought 3 for me and my friends totaling $143.97. I received an email receipt and I can still access my online receipt.

On June 17th I emailed [email protected], which is an email provided on my email receipt, and asked where my order was. I received a reply stating that due to Covid-19 things were backed up, but that I should expect my order tracking in 3 days. I never received anything.

On July 16th I attempted to visit the website, and it is totally down. I emailed [email protected] again asking for a refund.

Now that I dig into the specifics of the company it is obvious this was a scam. The address of the company is not specific, there is no other social media presence for Astrolit, and there are no reviews anywhere for this company.

I ordered a projector from AstroLit.us and it was a month ago and have yet to receive even a tracking number. I emailed them and was told that they were having issues due to corona virus but I don’t buy it. This was definitely a scam and I will have to call my bank and get the money back

Total money lost $59.97

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I purchased a Astrolit Projector on April 29, 2020 for $59.97. The company immediately sent me an email from "Neil" from the email address [email protected] Neil advised I will receive updates from him in regards to the shipment of the product I purchased and that the back order could be around two weeks. It has now been 43 days and I have not received any product, nor have I been able to formally request a refund due to the company not responding to messages. After research online, I have determined this is a consistent issue by customers and although the price is only $59.97, I believe the large scale fraud is in the hundreds of thousands.

Please help me get my money back and stop this business from operating!
