Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

The scammer approached me on freelancer.com to work as an virtual artist assistant. The job would consist of creating a website for myself as an assistant, then Robin Emery would handle getting the customers and selling the art then pass them on to me to get order set up with the artist. The customer would send me a check in the mail that I would need to deposit to my personal bank account. I would then need to use my personal account to pay the artist and shipping cost. Robin said that at the moment check was the only way possible to get the payment from customers. I started to get suspious of this and did some research. I found a facebook page with the galleries info but also a post that stated that someone was using their information on freelancer.com to set up a job and get personal information. I went back to freelancer.com and found that the profile of the Robin Emery had to deleted. Robin said I would be paid $600 a week for working 3 hours each day monday- friday. I was given a little bit personal information of Robin Emery.
