Type of a scam Online Purchase

We were looking for a puppy to adopt locally. Sadly we accidentally clicked on an advertised website. Arrow-5beagles poppped up with several adorable puppies. We read each section, finally found an email address.

Inquired over a week ago. All email and quick to respond. We were then prompted with instructions of where we are located, to make sure we were a sure fit for the puppy, told a price whole package deal of how they operate shipping cost from SanAntonio Tx.

We then reconnected and was told a different name email address and send funds via Zelle. That along with the wording of the email sent a red flag up. We also fished a little more finding where to send funds too it was a completely different foreign name and send funds and email to: Zelle Email: [email protected]

To a Nester G Williams for the dog Memo: for Coco

What an absolute disgrace to try to take advantage by using American family names and educational lingo to scam people to directly deposit their funds via uninsured sites or apps. Once We asked to video chat to make see the puppy we never got a response email. We hope this helps someone out there like us who are honestly looking for good people who care about their pets not coming from a puppy mill or scamming websites or people. Do not let your guard down nor let the excitement of a good thing happening get you caught up in a similar scam. I’m so glad my gut feeling paid off after asking where and how to send funds. Something just wasn’t sitting right. Sadly we will only contribute to look for a new pet by meet with local people or goto an adoption event put on by a local animal shelter.
