Type of a scam Identity Theft

Caller called and claimed they were from the Arizona Dept. of Public Service then asked if I was Sherry Ford. I said yes and they hung up right after I said that.

I had been in a major car accident the day before and thought they were calling because of that. That is why I said yes. After they had hung up I knew I had been scammed. I was familiar with the "yes" scam and knew I had just been compromised. I called my bank to ask how I can protect my account. They said just to keep watch over my account and if I see fraudulent activity to report it and I would have to close my account and open a new one.
