My mother was contacted by someone saying that her nephew was in jail in Florida and she needed to send $2000.00 and to this number 1-343-999-6470. She didn’t call the number instead she called me and I told her not to call that number that it sounded like a scam. I told her to instead call her brother, (her nephews father). My mother called her brother who assured her that his son was not in Florida and that she should not call the number they gave her.

Family friend’s lawyer called saying that he had been put in jail because he took an uber ride and the driver had drugs in the car….. needed bond money and would be reimbursed. The "family friend" did not even know he had a daughter which eventually tipped off my grandparents unfortunately they had already sent $2,000.00 worth of Wal-Mart gift cards to the "lawyer"
