Type of a scam Employment

Approached me with job opportunity by email. Stated that new office was opening in my area. Position was work from home at first then once trail period is over. I would work in the office location. Manager of said company stated that in order to be taught the process of business and processing invoices. Client would send money to personal bank where i would have to withdraw a lump sum of money then take to a ATM that offers Bitcoins. Called person bank and informed them of what was going on and the bank flat out told me that it was a scam and not to proceed. Once Manager of said company was informed that i did not feel comfortable with doing this transaction. Manager persuaded me to take a taxi to go do the transaction.
