Type of a scam Online Purchase

I ordered a textbook pdf version from this site. When I was done placing my order it told me to check my inbox right away (spam and junk mail as well). I checked everywhere; made sure I gave them the correct email address, etc. Then when it didn’t show up in my inbox I checked my credit card to see it the purchase had gone through and it had. I tried calling the phone number associated with the company, but it was an invalid phone number, so I called my bank to see if they could put a stop purchase on my credit card and they told me to wait until it went through and then I could file a complaint and get my money back for the product I never received. I then sent two emails, one to the admin site and one to the support site requesting a full refund, etc. and told them I was reporting them. I printed out all of the information from the site; I thought it was a legit site because it is supposedly a "secure" site. Then I went to reverse phone lookup white pages and typed in the phone number. It said it was a pager and gave no name associated with the number, and then typed in the address and it said no matching addresses were found. So I quickly froze my credit card through my bank so they cannot try to use my card for anything. I will have to cancel my credit card if the purchase goes through and have them issue me a new one after my bank issues me the refund.
