Type of a scam Debt Collections

This number calls at all hours of the day and night, they do not specify who they want to speak with but when i ask to speak with the manger the woman hung up.. Today I missed the call the they made to my home number that i had forwarded to my cell phone the woman claimed they called because they thought it was a business phone when i told her that the number was blocked and she couldn’t possibly know what number I was referring to she hung up quickly. I do not believe she or the business is who they claim to be. Also there was a TV on in the background and what sounded like children so i would really like this investigated, this number has been calling for over a year. I also had my home number changed in the last month so it can’t be legit.
