I went online to see what the Social Security Administration had online in regards to what to do for a replacement social security card. I came across the website that states it is also its company name, www.application-filing-services.com. I read through all of their "fine print" and became suspect, even though it looked basically legit, when it stated it was not affiliated with the government nor the social security administration. So, I called the ScamPulse.com in Spokane, Washington where the buisness was listed. The person whom helped me said they pulled up the website, also looked into the phone number, and it had several businesses using the same phone number, and had a listed "F" rating for several issues. The phone number the possible scam website used is 707-948-6245. It has connections with a Georgia website too. These companies, if suspect, are requesting your social security information and your parents social security information. It also is basically saying in legalese you can do them no harm or hold them liable. Beware of internet sites that want to attain your identity and identifying information.
