I would like to inform everyone that the website “AppleiPhoneUnlock.uk” is a SCAM. Last week I decided to use their services to unlock a 2nd hand iPad that I purchased. I paid the initial fee of 27$ after that they ask you to either provide the contact of the original owner so that they can contact them for you, if you don’t have that information (which I assume most people who use this service don’t), you’re supposed to pay an additional 49$ so that they can unlock it anyway. So I did. A few days later I received an email informing me that the unlocking had failed since the iPad is “blacklisted”, which is weird since there’s no official database that tells you weather an iPad/iPhone is “blacklisted” or not, and they said that the only way to get a refund is by presenting the original Apple invoice; which another way of saying that I will never get my money back ( if I had the invoice or if I had the contact information of the original owner, I wouldn’t have used this service). Finally, they offered that I purchase a service called (premium) that can unlock even “blacklisted” devices for an extra 49£, which means that they make up the fact that a device is “blacklisted” in order to get you to pay more and more in a total breach to the Consumer Rights act of 2015! In brief, this is a SCAM and I want to advise anyone who’s looking for this kind of service to keep away from this website because you will regret it.
Take care,

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Hello,

I was scammed by this company and was lured into their tactics of having me purchase a service which would unlock my iCloud locked device. At first, there was a charge of $27. Then they asked for $42. Next, because the phone was apparently “blacklisted by Apple” and then asked for an additional $49 for their “premium service”. This was in October of 2019. It is now April 2020 and I have yet to have my iPhone fixed and it it’s status is still “pending”. Apparently, I’m not the only one with this issue as well, hence why it is a major and serious scam. They will not refund the $120 but instead say that they offer “voucher” — only scammers do this, real companies refund. Also, beware, their customer serviced seemed to be computer programmed — emails.
