Type of a scam Phishing

Caller says there has been a breach in my iCloud account. They claim they are from Apple Tech Support but never use your name. When you hang up they call back over and over. They leave voice messages and then they start calling from alternate phone numbers. This has been going on non-stop for two days. I Googled the information while on the phone because I was suspicious and learned it was a scam and hung up. I did not provide any information. They are also calling my husband’s phone number just as much.

They call and claim that my Apple iPod has been breached and that I must talk to their customer care people before I use my Apple products. When you press 1 to talk to customer care it is answered by an Asian person and you tell them that you do not own an Apple device and the person hangs up on you. They keep calling and I am tried of being harrassed by their phone calls. My telephone number is on the national do not call list.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

We received an email stating we have an unauthorized charge against our ITUNES account for $399 for BIGO LIVE from Massachusetts. Then they asked me to sign up for security protection to stop these unauthorized uses against my account. They asked to charge a credit card $159.99 for protection services and then proceeded to ask for 2 different credit cards stating they were having issues to go through. Then they asked for me to take a picture of a check to use. I said no way. Here is subject line of received email:

Info Example: Breaking Bad 0502 online video and it says "Putlocker"

If you click on it, a photo shopped picture of "Apple Tech Support" page comes up and a "Voice" telling you not to exit/force quit and to call 1-844-346-3127, warning you that all your credit card information is now being sent to "Hackers" and "Malware, Spyware", etc and is now infecting your computer or phone and That Only Apple Tech Support can clean your now, "compromised" computer or phone.

They also make it hard to quit/exit, as the Warning repeats if you try! Instructing you to call the phone number immediately!

I knew it was a scam and called to see how the scammer answers the phone or if they were foreign sounding. A woman who sounded Indian, answered with a "hello can I help you"? I hung up and then she, immediately called back from 805-912-3127, a entirely different phone number. I then blocked the phone numbers. It seems (via others) these scammers, want access to your computer/phone, (when nothing was ever compromised to begin with), so THEY can get your credit card/personal information and then they too, want you to pay them via credit card payment for it. *Please note, you can force quit, by going up to the far left corner apple icon and click on "force quit" And, that Apple/Macs have no such"Security Warnings", this is a SCAM!

This company sent a fraudulent email, pretending to be an Apple iTunes receipt to my grandmother. She called her Visa company to make sure the charge wasn’t on her card. This must be an inside job by an employee at Visa because they then sent her to call "iTunes / Apple tech support" at this # 1–888-964-5178. This is not a tech support office and they are running multiple scams. This is also not listed as an iTunes or Apple tech support # anywhere on any of their affiliated sites. The ScamPulse.com should contact Visa and let them know one of their employees is not merely turning a blind eye to this scam, but willfully pushing Visa customers to call and trust this scammer.

The male employees instructed my grandmother that the only way to ensure she received a refund on her iTunes account was to buy MORE iTunes gift cards (over $500 worth) and that only then could she be reimbursed. They asked for all of her personal information, phone #, address, email, etc. Then they had her go to a grocery store, purchase iTunes gift cards, and call them back. She then told them the card #s and their pins, so I know it is impossible to get her money back. I wish she had called me earlier in the process so I could have told her this was clearly a scam.

I cannot save her from this financial burden, but I will not rest until I know this group of individuals is shut down and caught by law enforcement.

The "employees" there refuse to answer questions on where their office is located, who they are, or what their company name is. I will continue to call until I find out more information from them.

I have received two phone calls today stating that the security on my I-Cloud account has been breached. I can call back to the above number or stay on the line and they will connect me with their adviser. The name on my caller ID was R Bhagavan. I googled the telephone number and found out this was a total and dangerous scam.

The number 1-844-823-6760 is pretending to be tech support for Apple. They have put a virus on my dads phone and are now asking for $34.95 to remove the virus. Once I called them out and said there must be another way to get this resolved, they hung up on me. They are also incredibly rude. Watch out!!!
