Consumer received an invitation via mail to purchase an eye serum. She called the business and signed up to order the eye serum on a monthly payment plan basis and was told she could cancel at any time. She received the product which caused her to break out into a rash. She then called to cancel her payments. A week later her card was charged for the second month. She called back to tell them she didn’t know why it was charged because she had cancelled. The man told her that they had no record of her cancellation and they would not be refunding her her money. The man got very hostile with her and told her he would give back $35 and she could take it or leave it.
