They left voicemail on my home phone claiming to be from the county sheriff and saying that my wife had missed jury duty. She was out of town and could not be reached by phone. For various reasons relating to my personal circumstances, I was taken in. Didn’t smell a thing! I bought a greendot card and was tricked into giving them the number.
