My friend on Facebook claimed I could receive $250,000 on Facebook through an attorney, Amy Phacker, who works for the federal government. I contacted Amy and she said I would need to pay $1400, either through Google Play Card or Western Union, in order to cash in on my winnings. I sent her $1400 on a Google Play Card – took photos of the card – and she then sent a certificate that stated my winnings of $250,000. The next day Amy sent a message on Facebook Messenger that they can’t send the winnings just yet. The IRS had contacted them and I still needed to pay an additional $4200 in order for me to claim my money. I informed her that I do not have that kind of money. Amy stated that she would have to contact her Board of Directors. I then told her I am going to report her to the police and the Better Business Bureau.
