Type of a scam Nigerian/Foreign Money Exchange

Sender stating $9.3 million left with a safe security company in Spain & that I am possible heir & that if I follow his instructions (The rule of laws) the vault will be released to us & that once the Vault is released we would divide the content in the ration of 50% each. Requested for me to respond by email, call or fax and to get back to him if I am not willing to collaborate so that he may search further for another partner. He urged me to keep this proposal in utmost confidentiality pending our discussion due to the sensitivity of this situation. I have made no reply nor tried to contact the sender in any way.
