Type of a scam Online Purchase

Ad appeared on facebook for a dual iphone/apple watch charger. A kickstarter-backed new business. I ordered the product and paid by credit card through paypal. Everything appeared genuine, and then I received a delivery notice, saying the product had been delivered by USPS. The product did not arrive. I tried to contact the seller, but their website has no contact information, no phone number or customer service link. I replied to the email containing the delivery confirmation, and received no reply for two weeks. When I did get a reply, it effectively said ‘too bad, not our problem’. I queried that, and the next response was very unprofessional and very rude. The whole process has been very suspicious and on further research, I have found a lot of complains and unhappy customers all saying they have not received their product. Not sure if it is a scam or a badly run start-up, but I would highly recommend people avoid them.
