Type of a scam Phishing

I was contacted by SamCraw47 through Craigslist. He said CL messages don’t get through to him sometimes and asked me to email him directly. He also asked if I had a Vehicle report on the vehicle I was selling. He suggested using AmericanVin as it was half the price of Carfax and just as reliable. Like a fool (without checking with BBB) I sent $20 through paypal for the report. I did get the report, but now I fear identity theft! I have checked my credit card and am clear so far.
