I just walked in the door around 03:15 in the afternoon when the phone rang. I take a specialty cancer medication and was expecting the monthly phone call from my provider’s specialty drug pharmacy. For that reason I picked up the phone thinking it might be them. There was a pause when finally a man with a foreign accent (Indian?) said he was with "the pharmacy". Sensing this was not the call from my provider I asked "What pharmacy?" and he said "the American pharmacy". I asked what drug he was calling about and he said "All drugs". Wrong answer!!! I ended the call. (NOTE: I was probably targeted because I am 66 years old)

For the past 4 years I have been receiving daily phone calls from on line pharmacies selling viagra and cialis. Two times over four years ago, I bought some pain medication, but after the calls increased to 5 or more per day, I refused to purchase any more pain medication. Each call I asked to be removed from the calling list and explained that I get my medications through my personal physician. The calls continue to where it is problematic at my work. On 06/03/19 I received a call at 5:53 PM. I thanked the caller for not calling me at work and explained that I wasn’t interested then or ever to purchase anything and that it was in part due to receiving 5+ calls daily from pharmacy telemarketers. The caller then threatened me that if I didn’t purchase anything then "Brother I will make sure you get 15 calls a day". I asked him to repeat what he said and he yelled at me "Brother I will make sure you get 15 calls a day". I hung up on the caller. This was clearly threatening to me not to mention harrassment. Not a good way to get customers to buy medications. I will probably have to change my number.
