This is the email of instructions for a $2800 cashier’s check they mailed me. They contact me through email. I thought they were a legit mystery shopper company. But I don’t think they are. I responded by email for them not to contact me anymore and that I ripped up the check. These people can steal your identity or have you deposit a fake check in your account and leave you in deep trouble.

So I’ve been looking for a job recently. I had been scrolling through my email and saw a offer to be a mystery shopper in my inbox. I responded to it with my basic information like my name and address. Two days later I received a package with a money order for $2495.95 and instructions for my first assignment. For my first assignment they wanted me to cash the money order and send $2000 to supposedly a mystery shopper in Texas. I live in Indiana. And the name that I was sending the money to didn’t seem legit. I tried finding A.C.E in the ScamPulse.com database and no such company exist. That’s when I knew it had to be a scam.

I was told I could be a secret shopper and they would pay me up to $*** an assignment. They sent me a cashiers check for $*** which was to be deposited into my bank account within 24 to 72 hours and I should text them with "check deposited’ then "funds available" when I could use the money then they would send me instructions on what to buy and where to buy it after that. I never did this so I don’t know what they wanted after that.

I can’t send the images because my computer has issues but I still have the cashiers check and letter they sent me.
