Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Car ad was on Craigslist, asked to contact "seller" by email, when we the contacted "seller" they informed me they were out of town in the military and wanted to sell the car through "Amazon Auto Sales", after asking for my full name phone number and email, the fake company sent me an email with a fake invoice saying that we had to pay for the car via Amazon gift cards because that was the only approved method of payment. It’s supposedly guaranteed 2 day shipping and the fake company sends you a confirmation email as well.
