An ad was advertised on Facebook for a 2008 Tahoe. His name was allegedly ***** ******. He gave me 821 W 56 Ave, Denver, CO 80216 to purchase a vehicle. Upon arriving at 1:08 PM and waited approximately ten minutes. He then seen my message got off the forklift he was driving and proceeded to let me look at the truck. I discovered there was more cosmetic damage than he initially stated. Upon viewing the vehicle I noticed that the interior had oil across the entire interior, which ***** ****** stated a good detailing and it will come out. I started the truck and nothing appeared on the dashboard, just the mileage. My son viewed it as well and said inside looks messed up, but we can clean that. By this time I was crying, but I was in desperate need of a vehicle so I felt I really had no choice, but to purchase the vehicle. I gave him $5,500.00 cash and he counted it then gave me the title. I noticed the title was already signed and the name on the title was a ******* *******. My son asked for Bill of Sale and was advised he would provide that when he sent proof of the transmission being replaced. I parked the vehicle overnight since I was in Denver for one night and he had removed the license plates and we had no Bill of Sale. The next morning Sunday we were traveling back to Colorado Springs, CO approximately 11:30 AM. Within 10 minutes my so **** ******, driving the vehicle, called at 11:55 AM and states the dash has an error TRANSMISSION IDLING HOT COOL. I immediately messaged “***** ******” and asked him, “Why didn’t you tell me there was a transmission error!” He states at that point,” There shouldn’t be a just paid $2,500.00 to fix a leak in the transmission.” I stated, “ I was not advised you had to fix a leak I the transmission! I want my money back!” He then messages,” I don’t have your money.” We had to stop between castle Rock and Manitou by this time Service Air Bag was flashing on the dashboard, Service Suspension and Transmission Idle Hot. When we did get home I messaged that since nothing was wrong with the truck then he can come fix it or come get this truck and give me back my money or sell one of his eight cars he bragged about him and his wife having, give me back my money and re-sell it to some other dumb ***. He messaged, “The vehicle was fine when I looked at it and left so he doesn’t know what I did.” I messaged, “ I haven’t even driven it 100 miles, It’s been parked, there’s no way I did this!” He still refused to pick up the truck and give mem my $5,500.00 back, won’t provide Bill of Sale and states he advised men As Is. I advised him no he didn’t and I had the truck less than 24 hours and he still hasn’t provided Bill of Sale or proof of transmission rebuild. In investigating I discovered the address 821 W 56th Ave, where ***** ****** had me him to conduct this deal, Alternative Auto Solutions, was owned by ******* ******* owner and the owner of the truck. I discovered that ***** ****** is family to ******* ******* and they have scammed SEVERAL consumers according to reviews. They also did not even complete some work they were paid for. I had my truck taken to a local auto shop to see what all is wrong with the vehicle that Monday, 2 two days after getting the truck. Brake plus calls me and states fifteen codes came up and at this point that would take over five hours and would cost me over $1,000 and the truck wasn’t even worth that. He said I won’t and can’t do that to you. This car has A LOT wrong with it. So I’m just going to stop here and not proceed further. I now am out $5,500.00 and the truck isn’t safe to drive since I was also advised the inner fender liners are missing that cover the inside of the motor, inner fender wells are missing and got headers on it not manifolds, header bolts are broke and there’s quite a bit of damage.
