Type of a scam Phishing

I received a phone call from 615-465-4972 on 5/10/2017 at 5:07pm. They did not ask for me by name, as I answered my work mobile phone "Hello, this is _____." The caller said "Hello Mr. _____, I’m calling for your car insurance payment. Do you have a moment to discuss this?" The caller sounded like they were in a call center. I responded "Sure." He continued, "We work with several companies including State Farm, Allstate, and Farmer’s. What is your zip code?" I then hung up. I believe this is a scam and wanted to report the incident immediately. I believe they were going to ask for payment information, posing as an insurance provider. Please research this ASAP to protect the citizens of the community.
