Type of a scam Credit Cards

I received a call at my home number and my cell number asking for me by name and they had all my personal information etc. They told me that an officer was coming to serve me papers to appear in court due to a checking account I had 10 years ago with Wells Fargo that I left unpaid and I was being sued if I didn’t pay upfront. He wanted me to give him my bank account information to secure the amount and from any more fees. Liar liar pants on fire. I called Wells Fargo and gave them my information to see if this was a legitimate claim and it was not. They told me they do not collect on checking account debt from over 10 years ago and plus mine was closed with no compromise, that I owed nothing to this bank. But the scheming scammer told me I owed this amount for that bank and had to pay or suffer the consequences. I was very angry about this outright lie and the lengths they went to for defrauding me and the scare tactics. So I told them to go ahead and send the officer or whoever out, I’ll wait for them. I also went to my bank and alerted them in case they have my bank information without my knowledge.
