So this just happened to me she send me a picture of her face with her I’d and everything saying she was in California for her father burial and I was just about to send her 450 dollars to get the keys. And I decided to search up her name and this came up wow. I’m like so surprised and upset because she wasted my time and now I’m homeless

My brother just had the same experience as the other report listed — he was told she had a bedroom with a personal bath attached, for $500/month…she also sent a picture of herself holding her ID. The address she mentioned was even on it! Best scam I’ve seen in a long time…glad I stumbled upon this site, with this person’s detailed account of the EXACT same scam…

Type of a scam Rental

ALICIA SOLANO scammed me out of my last $400 via roomster.com. The money was sent via zelle.com and an Amazon gift card.

She lied the entire time. She said she was in Florida for her father’s funeral and would mail me the keys. I had to vacate my studio apartment within a few days and the room for rent she used to scam me was on the same block as my job.

Roomster.com is a major part of the problem because they are not properly screening the people that are allowed to set up profiles and access people who are genuinely and desperately seeking rooms to rent.

This crook ALICIA SOLANO even sent me a picture of her California ID card and a picture of her holding the card.

The police won’t do anything and the FBI is dragging their feet.

Meanwhile, I am homeless!
