Type of a scam Tech Support

Received a phone call this morning from a guy from 1-800-254-3692 stating that he was with dell tech support and that my computer could be at risk because it is sending various messages to their server. I told him that I was not by my computer and ask for a number to call him back at and he insisted that he would call me back. This has happened on several occasions and this guy even call me by my first name. I have also had people call from unavailable numbers also stating that they are from Dell but when I have contacted Dell they tell me that they do not call customers unless you have requested a call back and advised me to contact ScamPulse.com because this is potential scam. When I called the number back that showed up on my caller id, which was 1-800-254-3692, it said the name of the company was Aleinware or something like that.
