Type of a scam Government Grant

My great grandmother was told about a government assistance grant in which she could receive $30k. She was told to provide personal information (which she did) and a copy of her driver’s license (which, thank God, she did not). She was told she needed to sent $450 worth of iTunes gift cards to pay for the UPS shipping in order to receive the $30k. A friend told her about this and showed her a picture of the $30k that she DID receive…which she said that they delivered the money within MINUTES to her doorstep.
