This business, affordable student loan advisory, sent me a letter saying they could reduce my student loan by 75%, so I called them, and then they said they needed all this personal info like ss# addres name email moms maiden name, and they worked with the government, after giving them some info I got scared and hung up. Please investigate these people and see if they are legitimate; I’m really scared it was identitiy theft!!! Please let me know if I should be worried or contact my bank to watch for theft!!! I’m already worried!!

The letter said to call the number with a case ID so they can help students reduce their loans or even get loan forgiveness. I called them and gave them my SSN and DOB and they logged into my FAFSA website and created an FSA ID for me which is not allowed. They said I’d have to make 3 payments of $250 and then my loans would be forgiven.
