called my mother in law and myself. when i called back, they did not answer with the company name, i had to ask for it. i was transferred to someone in charge of my “case”, she wanted me to verify my social security number, she had the number itself and even read it to me (great identity protection there isnt it) but wanted me to confirm what exactly the number was ( license number, ssn, etc). when i refused she said she could not give me any information if i did not. i refused again and told her it is not needed to verify my identity and that i would not confirm what that number was. she then hung up on me.

Received a voice mail from Steven Taylor giving me a case number and that legal action would be taken against me. They also called my mother in law and my dad. I called the number back, they didn’t answer with a company name, just "can I help you". I asked for the name, they gave me Advent Litigation. They transferred me to my "case worker". I spoke with a man who got very angry at me because I would not verify my social. I told him under no circumstances would I ever give him my social and asked to what it was regarding. He refused to tell me unless I gave him my ssn. I told him no, again, that I work for a bank and my social is not needed to verify my identity. He hung up on me. I called him back, stating that he hung up on me and I need to know what it is in reference to. He got mad, asked me if I was going to give him my social, I said no, then he hung up on me again.

6/25/20- I received a phone call from Derrick Johnson of Advent Litigation claiming that I was being sued by a Puyallup hospital (name withheld) for an outstanding debt of over $7000 dating back to an unpaid bill from 2008. I had never heard of such a bill and I pride myself with my prompt payment procedures. I called the hospital and found that there are NO OUTSTANDING Balance or credit collection actions for my medical bills or those of any relatives that are covered by my medical insurance. I was also told that they have no record of ever using Advent Litigation to recover any of their debts. I called Derrick Johnson back and informed him of what the hospital told me and told him that I would report him to the BBB. Derrick continued to insist his story was true, was belligerent, and did not offer any apologies or explanation. I hung up on him.

Please stop these people. My day has been ruined by this scammer.
