Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I was looking for a payday loan and was contacted by a David Mathews to discuss my inquiry. He told me the minimum loan amount was $1,500 to apply. After giving me all the details he said in order to give me the loan I needed to give him my bank account login information so he could make sure my account wasn’t overdrafted. After this he proceeds to tell me that in order for me to get the money he has to deposit a small amount in my account because my credit score was low and this would boost it with *** *** so I could get the loan. After they would deposit this small amount then I would need to send it back to the company on a gold bank card and they would then deposit the full amount in my bank account.
