Type of a scam Debt Collections

A guy by the name of mark brown contacted a friend of mine. Told him he was an independent processor and that he had some certified papers that I needed to sign by the next day for a notice to appear in court. He left the above listed phone number for me to call and said that it is the # for the plantiff.. he also left a case #. I called the number from a friend’s phone and it went to an ADR company..the person answering did not give her name or any info about the company. I called the county in which they said I had to be in court and the clerk of court had no records of any such claims or records. This same guy also called and left the same message on Dad’s phone. I have not received anything in the mail about this. Nor have I received a call about this. What do I need to do?
