They didn’t ask for any information about social security, nor bank information. They are sending equipment to my home for me to work out of my home. Data Entry and customer service rep. I just want to check if this is leiget. They did ask for a 5 to 10 dollars cashier check from the bank with the insurance company name on it so I can be entitle to benefits.

I received an email from a few different hiring managers stating my resume was approved for a Data Entry and Customer Service position for ADP Inc. They received my resume from Snagajob.com. I was to add this manager on Google Chat to proceed with interview. I followed steps and was offered position for 15/hr training and 20/hr after training completed. I accepted and then a check was sent to me for startup working materials. The check was cleared by the bank and I was instructed to wire two payments to a 3rd party vendor. I wired the money and then a few days later the check was returned from the Federal Reserve as a fraudulent check. They had already sent another check for working material updates and that was not clearing the bank due to previous check fraud. The managers insisted that I could still make the payment even though my account was on hold. I informed My hiring manager and was directed to 3 different associates that would give me the runaround. They wanted to reimburse me via another check and asked for my social security number and birth date which had not been previously asked. I knew then it was a scam and informed the different managers that I would not be working with them any longer.
