I was looking to add another dog to our family and we are all inlove with corgis it was the first website on google and clicked on it i contacted the “breeder” and got an email and a text from them confirming i received the email, the person was very eager to have me say i wanted the dog and when i would want it, how soon and what not and i asked a lot of questions about how the dog would be transferred and this is when i got iffy about the transaction the person did not reply with a lot of detail just that the dog would be delivered to my door, and when i said i wanted the dog she wanted me to download a wiring app called zelle, it’s instant. Again iffy but this dog was so cute, i was skeptical… but proceeded. I noticed unlike most breeders or adoption sites the person didn’t ask me any questions about my living situation if i had kids, cats, dogs, apartment house yard and she said she had to do paperwork to transfer the dog and asked for 500$ upfront and the other 300 15 minutes later not sure why, but once i sent the 500 she didn’t ask me for any information, i asked her if she needed information….. and she only asked for my name address and email and what airport is closest to me.. so i asked if the dog is going to be delivered my door why the airport.. and i looked up the email listed on the website and a scam alert came up and i asked the person about it and all she said was no it was not a scam and i said i was uncomfortable and asked for my money back and she said okay and has not sent it back and has stopped answering me . So left heart broken my only hope is to disput the charge with my bank and try to go after this scammer any way i can.
