Type of a scam Employment

They offer 250 per week for a unknown sized decal to be put on your car advertising for irish spring soap. The information that was sent by the employer has spelling errors and some sentences don’t make sense. Upon some google searching I have come to the conclusion that this is a fake job offer that will make the person cash a fake cashiers cheque and be on the line for all of the money.

I have called the actual Acosta company in Florida and they have confirmed this is fake.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

An email was sent to my email address at my company. I responded through my gmail. They responded, It did not look fake as the Acosta website was on there email so I sent them back my info to get them approve me for a Car Wrap Advertisement. They would pay me 250 a week and 50 for gas. It sounded legitimate as I have seen these cars on the road. After few days they sent out a check which took 10 days to reach me as he text me daily until I received it Saturday and deposited it on the same day and the bank told me it will clear on Tuesday. I was not so sure yet as the check looked legitimate but it was issued in Omaha Nebraska and it came from an address was from Washington. He or She started emailing me from Saturday until Tuesday and wanted me to send a cashiers check to an address which he was still getting from the company that was supposedly wrap my car. I wasn’t going to give anything to anyone before I got something for it. I called the issuing bank and the account number did not clear so I texted them back that they have sent me a fake check. There response was I was to release the funds to them or go to jail. I told them I would take my chances and I’m calling the police. They never texted me back after that.
