Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I seen something online via facebook about a school I was attending that dropped my major in the middle of my course and a lawsuit to forgive your loans was in action. I clicked on the link to see more about and soon after I begin to get calls from student debt relief companies; I would never ansser the calls until the other day. They introduced themselves as The Academic Protection Company calling to see if I qualified for loan forgiveness since they already knew I clicked on a debt relief link. They seemed legit even when asking me to make installment payment for thier services, I did and was told they would then take my claim and deal with my loan comoany thereafter. I got a call my from loan company and told them about the company, they encouraged me to immediately contact the ScamPulse.com to check things out officially. I did and they let me know this place wasn’t registered! I was called from one number and given a different number with extension to contact my case manager, and looked up the website and found another number!! I didn’t see the red flags, but have contacted my bank and social security! BEWARE!! JERALD AND AMANDA GONZALOS ARE FRUADS!
