Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I received a call from this company stating that I may qualify for loan forgiveness. Went through the initial questions, rep come back on the phone and tries to get me overjoyed by saying that I have been accepted for 100% loan forgiveness. I will just need to pay $316 for the first 3 months and everything else will $0! The rep wanted me to provide my card information without reading any documents. I told the rep that I felt bullied into providing my card information and all I was asking was for 24 hrs to read the documentation. He comes back and say that his supervisor states that for my protection, my information will not be saved!!! (REALLY?!!!) I told him that was fine and I declined their services!
