Type of a scam Debt Collections

Had multiple calls from this number regarding a law suit from Wells Fargo about an overdrawn account from 2010, and that I would served at my home within the next few days to attend court for 3x’s the amount that I was overdrawn, plus court cost, attorney fees, and other fees. My only choice was to pay now or set up a payment plan with them to avoid a lawsuit. These people even called my parents, to get them to pay. I contacted Wells Fargo and they stated they do not see an account in collections with them, I also still bank with them.

My banker told me to ask the company for a debt validation request and if they have it they are legit, if they do not it is a scam. I called the number back ask for that document and they stated they could not give that to me. I told them to go ahead and serve me and they did not show up as stated.

However, the next week I receive another call from the same number stating the same case, this time a "Mr. Bailey" was on the phone and was a lot more pushy than the last. I asked him for a physical address and he stated he could not give me one, but a mailing address that was locate in Houston. I told him I have already spoke to someone at their "company" and I wanted a debt validation request. He laughed and stated he could get me all the requested documents mailed out asap and "good luck" and quickly hung up.

Absolutely insane the amount of work these people will go into to try and scam innocent people.
